May 2, 2016 Dear Families, Due to the size of the venue for our Spring Concert, we are going to have to be a bit creative in the structure of the program for the 1st – 3rd grade concert. All scholars are to arrive by 5:10PM at King of Kings Church located at 3095 N. 140th Drive, Goodyear, for rehearsal. Parents will drop their scholar off at this time to the care of their teachers. The doors will open for First Grade parents to take seats at 5:50PM. The front rows of the church will be reserved for First Grade families. The First Grade portion of the concert will begin at 6:00 and will go until 6:20PM. Upon the conclusion of the First Grade performance, First Grade scholars will be walked out to the courtyard to the west of the sanctuary. Once dismissed, First Grade families will join their First Graders in the courtyard for refreshments. At this time, the Second Grade families will move forward into the vacated front section of the sanctuary, with the Second Grade portion of the concert beginning at 6:20 and going until 6:40PM. Once this portion of the concert is complete, Second Grade scholars will be walked out to the courtyard to the west of the sanctuary. Once they have left the building, Second Grade families will then be dismissed to join their Second Grader in the courtyard for refreshments. At this point, Third Grade families will be allowed to move forward into the front rows for the Third Grade portion of the concert from 6:40-7:00PM. At first glance, this system seems rather complicated, but when there, we will all work as a community to make our time of celebration with our young musicians a very special time of friendship and Great Hearted teamwork. We will have faculty on site to help with all of the logistical needs of the evening, and we thank you in advance for your patience. Sincerely, Heather Washburn Headmaster Parents, We are officially in our last month of school! It is a bittersweet time. This week is packed with exciting events, so please read all these details closely! This week:
