Parents,
Thank you for all of your support this year. It truly makes all the difference. Friday, May 18 - Charlotte's Web Celebration Tuesday-Thursday, May 22-24 - Half days, no lunches Thursday, May 24 - Last Day of School This week: Spalding- Your scholar will have 31 new words this week. All spelling words are to be written in cursive each night. Please have your scholar write their words in their best Spalding cursive. Markings need to be done on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursday you should dictate all 31 words to your scholar. Markings are not required on Thursday, but words must be written in cursive. ****If your child is misspelling a word, please mark it wrong and have them correct it on their homework. Please spend the extra time having your scholar say the words in syllables, spelling them on their fingers, then writing the words when practicing at home. Please let me know if your child is struggling. Math- We will be completing our end of year math assessments. These will assess students on everything we have learned this year. Due to this, we will be completing some different worksheets for homework each night to review. Please be looking for these in your child's red folder and returning them each day. Science- We will review everything we have learned about simple machines and complete a test on Tuesday. We will complete some writing regarding different scientists to finish the year in Science. Literature- We will finish reading Charlotte's Web this week and have a celebration on Friday.
